About This Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a 1 or 2-tonne delivery vehicle safely at all times.
- Loading your vehicle using safe lifting techniques with pre-sorted orders.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products in line with company standards.
- Conducting pre- and post-shift vehicle safety checks.
- Communicating with the fleet team regarding any on-shift issues.
- Working towards daily and weekly performance targets.
- Contributing to a positive team culture within the fleet and fulfilment teams.
Requirements:
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Clean driving record with a strong safety focus
- Good physical fitness – able to lift and carry up to 25kg and handle repetitive manual tasks
- Comfort with technology – able to use scanning tools, smartphones, or delivery apps
- Strong time management – reliable and punctual, with the ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Availability for flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, or public holidays as required
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in last-mile delivery, courier services, or a similar logistics role
- Familiarity with delivery apps (e.g. Bringg, GetSwift, or similar platforms)
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety checks and minor troubleshooting
- Experience handling perishable goods or time-sensitive deliveries
